Put the Wedding Planner Away, and take a Much Needed Break with your Bae!

Planning a wedding can be a super stressful time, especially during another wave of the pandemic. You're probably in panic mode! Wondering if your deposits are refundable, if there will be another lockdown, if restrictions will intensify, or if you will need to postpone. It's insanity. This is supposed to be an exciting time for you and your partner, but these stressors can certainly create some tension and anxiety. I love living in central Edmonton and keeping up with everything that goes on in our city. I am creating a five-part series of different things you and your partner can do together, that will hopefully distract you from talking about more wedding to-dos. Let's face it, a lot of your wedding planning is on hold right now, and there is not a whole lot you can predict or plan for at this time. Enjoy your engagement, it's a very special time!

Part 1 of 5: The Ice Wall at the Edmonton Ski Club

If you loved the ice castle at Hawrelak Park, you'll love this!

This is what @yeg.date posted:

"You won’t need to venture to the mountains this winter to have an ice climbing adventure. The ACC at Edmonton Ski Club ice wall opens today! Level up your next date night and head outside for an ice climbing instruction course, drop-in, or a way to try something new this winter. Whether you’re an experienced climber, or you haven’t climbed before, the ACC Ice Wall is a fantastic way to get outside this winter. You can head out for a new in-the-city adventure without any experience at all".

It's been basically freezing here in Edmonton lately. But when it warms up, make sure you try this awesome activity. Tag me @thebloomingbridalblog on Instagram to be featured on our page! I would love to see your pictures.
